One of the eeriest, yet most soothing times of last year was the quiet of normally frantic places. Streets were silent, schoolyards were still, shopping centers empty.
In the midst of that silence and stillness came beautiful gifts.
In Great Britain, people would go out on their balcony to clap for the essential workers still out there.
