An honest picture of my Advent

Here is the reality of the first Sunday of Advent for me:

The attempted substitute of coconut oil for butter on monkey rolls led to a kitchen full of smoke before we left for church.

My credit card was declined at the grocery store afterwards, and debit card declared insufficient funds. (Eventually hit on one that worked.)
